Ryan MacKenzie is Senior Director of Global Regulatory Affairs–CMC at Merck, where he is a team leader responsible for development and implementation of regulatory strategy for pipeline products from Phase 1 clinical studies through initial marketing applications. Ryan has over 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience including analytical sciences and 16 years in global regulatory CMC at Merck and Janssen. Ryan serves as the CMC leader for Merck’s COVID-19 small molecule therapeutic. Ryan holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Pennsylvania State University. He joined ISPE in 2021.
