April Shiflett, PhD

April Shiflett received her bachelor’s degree in Genetics from the University of Georgia, and her PhD in Pathobiology from Brown University. She joined the Amgen Drug Product Process Development group following her post-doctoral work at UCLA. During her time at Amgen she has led multiple tech transfers, both commercial and clinical, and served as a drug product team lead for both a biosimilar and an innovator molecule. She is currently a principal scientist in the DPPD group, where she focuses on technology transfer of drug product manufacturing processes and validation risk management.
