Lawrence De Belder started to work with Continuous Manufacturing four years ago, assessing business opportunities for Continuous Manufacturing for both consumer and pharmaceutical sectors of Johnson and Johnson. A relocation of two years to Puerto Rico was part of that activity. Over time, Lawrence became the overall Program Manager of all Continuous Manufacturing projects and academic initiatives at Janssen, ensuring coordination, knowledge sharing and standardization take place.

Lawrence is a strong advocate of Pre-competitive collaboration, and he plays an important role as a catalyst for partnerships with vendors, academics and other Pharma companies.

Lawrence earned a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering in 1995 at Group T, Leuven, and is co-chair of the Continuous Manufacturing Work Group in the IQ Consortium.
