Joshua Russell has been with AST for 15 years and in 2016 assumed his current role of Director of Technical Sales & Marketing with global business development responsibilities. In this role he works with end users to deliver automated solutions to challenging and unique aseptic applications leveraging AST’s adaptive and modular platforms. Prior to taking on the Director role he served in various technology management and engineering roles within AST including Director of Product Development and Principle Engineer overseeing AST’s R&D and product development initiatives focused on innovating the next generation of aseptic fill-finish technologies. Josh has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Saint Martin’s University and is a member of the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) and Parenteral Drug Association (PDA).
